new music from my girls lately ~ so i shall review

6/6/26 ULTRA - six sex (her first full album!! !!!!!)

she got real cute real scary  most importantly real party. the majority of the tracks on this album have good mixing potential with repetitive choruses but they are crazy shorttttttt it almost starts feeling like a sample pack toward the middle of the album. its quite formulaic...at least most songs arent in english 

i was hoping for more area 69 vibes and we definitely came close~i like how she channels emotions in this direction except im missing a lot of varied lyricism. BEAUTY privilege is refreshing but out of 16 songs i want moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (trails off into distance)

because im the biggest area 69 fan i missed creepykawaii and experimental six sex ;-; the visuals we got are really sick so far. i missed her super intense visual because since satisfire shes gone in a more kawaii direction but i really like this scream queen kinda thing... still cute but back to being threatening!

last thing but where are the features!!! i think every artist benefits from features adn ive always loved six sex collabs so im kinda shocked her first album has nobody. but i also understand where shes coming from because of the nature of this album and where she was in life when writing it (watched 1 interview) (why is her speaking voice so *flushes*)

anyway im so excited for the rest of the music videos  thats the most exciting part of being a six sex fan she always feeds us so many awesome videos for every release ~~

6/5/26 NATURE IS HEALING - horsegiirL (also her first full album~~~)

what an exciting coincidence for my 2 fav ladies to release their first albums side by side zomg.

this album took me actually 2 days to finish listening to cuz wowowow most tracks actually breached 3 minutes and i didnt wanna be up too late listening to it in one sitting. 

the notes i took.... 3 things. VOCALS . ROMANCE . RnB . 

her vocals shiiiiiine omg i love her gabberish repetitive party songs a lot but her singing voice is so refreshing . as is the entire album its so 상쾌한 horsegiirl beats for study and chill but also..;;; very treading on pop *le gasp*

because of that i wasnt really feeling the first half of the album. it was like TOO mainstream pop and im SO pretentious although i loved rivers run free. the psychedelic kinda stuff wasnt realy for me either. until tracks 10 and 11 OMFG connect the dots gagged me (homer simpson grinding his hips gif) but then AN APPLE A DAY actually had me wanting to close my office door and starrt dancing it is soooooo gooddddd. and its not just because i love her more horse gimmicky songs its genuinely just wow she has done it again. 

it wouldnt be a horsegiirl release without the bed creaking sound either present in karma is . such a good little track

horsegiirl has made my entire time in university so much easier and fun and i hope we get some crazy music videos for these b-sides bc theyre reminiscent of the horsegiirl that i first fell in love with.....
