Staring at Backgrounds - Before Today

hi my blog. today i may or may not write the post ive been meaning to write for 2 months but i just needed a place to put some thoughts...

oh u know im going to the gym these days....im still on my techpara kick (not in the way im practicing techpara more just gawking at it since im back at work and all i listen to is hyper techno)

so i was thinking about the 90s-00s-10s when the kawaii epidemic started in the americas and like how interesting it is that so many parts of the world were experiencing japanese media. and lately im kind of dysphoric in a way ebcause i feel like i wish i was a white man from massachusetts born in 1985 who was destined to become a weeb after spending childhood obsessed with the tv and then going to school and playing pokemon cards and then discovering anime on dvd and then going to animemusicvideos.org and then discovering jpop and then after getting into nakata's work discovering some moer japanese DJs going to anime conventions with the boys from the forums and playing beatmania and being kind of bisexual. creating youtube.... thats what i want.. but then i thought hmm its a very manly usa experience...when so much was going on at the same time in other places 

after i looked at so many techpara videos i watch a lot of latin american parapara channels and i recently discovered yearning to be a gay chilean man;;; im just quite jealous i dont really know what was happening in chile but to be a gay man obsessed with ayumi im sure it must have been so fun.. imean in their videos theyre always smiling and theyre so fit and good at parapara. another thing, chilean fujoshis are off the walls and back then it must have been just as incredible and id love to be there with everybody holding hands i really love what they do..

dont even get me strated on how jealous iam of all the visual kei stuff that was going on in latin america too OMG versailles was just in chile like  anyway

at the same time i think a lot about the kawaii biatches of southern california and im also incredibly jealos because i look on daily-lolita and they had that shit on the meets and cons probably were so fun in a painful way.. even their boytoys on their flickr accounts had rilakkuma kigurumi on like nobody could escape kawaii til i die. like sebastian masuda had his finger on the pulse of california so nasty oh to be at the first couple harajuku days in la im sick to my stomach

there is definitely more to say in an academic way but just wanted to get off my chest my feelings.
