i'm a little late to give some updates about the new year!

i had some blogs i planned to write, but they became large projects that i haven't felt like working on, so i don't know when i will get back to them. I promise they will be interesting? at some point

just now i felt like getting on to write because i got my first CD of 2026 today! not that monumental but its important to me (and i really like to soak up the "first __ of 2026" thing every new year XD)

its D.R.U.G.S by Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows AKA D.R.U.G.S. im listening to it now! i didnt know much about it before buying it today but i saw the inside jacket and.. of course craig owens is responsible for this... 7_7

it has some cracks, but for 5 bucks its in great condition

im honestly surprised i found a cd like this at a new record shop that opened up in my town. the records for display were at total upcharges (like a FFTL vinyl being double the price it was sold at hot topic for? wtf) but the cds were reasonable, just mostly jazz. 

otherwise, besides getting my cd today i went thrift shopping with my friend and i was pretty disappointed at the post xmas/ny donations. wheres all my new shit?!?

some stuff i did between now and my last post...

on the 21st i went thrifting with aforementioned friend and left with a LEGENDARY haul including a pochacco keychain, tumblr ass cross scarf, and even fenty x savage?! 

i thrifted this top and cami that day too. i put pochacco on my bag to match.

after that incredible shopping day i was on a thrifting kick, so the next day i went again with my family to some other thrift stores. didn't score anything though... but not to my dismay since we had tickets to see the nutcracker!!!

it was a good show put on by the local ballet academy. lots of annoying kids in the audience but... when sugar plum is on stage you shut the fuck up. and that they did.
 

some more shopping that day. this YNM lip balm is GORGEOUS!!!

the week of christmas was kind of boring since i don't celebrate it. i played a lot of OMORI on my nintendo and got some makeup for a latenight xmas eve outing..

on the 27th a friend came to my house so we could binge watch the newest season of my favorite BL, 25 Ji, Akasaka De. I WAS SO HYPE for this season and it did not disappoint...!!! it had me so stressed out (oh my god they didnt kiss for like, 6 episodes) but it was AMAZING. when they made love at the end i almost fell out of my chair.... *fujoshi squealing* im DYING just thinking about it

the next day, to nobody's surprise i went shopping again. well, the victoria's secret semi annual sale started so can you be mad?

my mom and i went to PINK and picked out a lot of things. but in the end we put back so many lol. i exercised restraint for the first time ever and only got 2 pieces of clothes. since we were at the mall i got a cute shirt at hot topic since it was on sale, but it's from yu-gi-oh.. i hope nobody asks me about yu-gi-oh when i wear it? O_O

this is the back but i want to wear it on the front.. aha

i went to work the next couple days. but on new years eve my family and i went to a turkish dinner party where there was a live singer! he was totally.. you know..... i was living for him

we rang in the new year at the party and called it a night around 1am. i had so much food in me that i slept like a baby... 

we were out of town so everyone knows what this means right? say it with me: LET'S GO SHOPPING!

since goodwill wasnt open on new years day we went to other stores like savers, and omg. this town was RICH. i found at least 10 PINK hoodies and sweatpants. i only scored one that was really cute (2010s pink ofc) and that's the end of my lucky streak.

i also finally got to eat jollibee spaghetti! it was real good. then i had a coconut coffee and some sweets with vanilla and blueberry cream at tous les jours before heading home. it was a busy busy week!

now im chilling, except that i have work this week again, and school very soon TT_TT

i haven't quite done new years reflections since ive been busy. overall i went to 20 local shows, doubled my CD collections (thanks to those shows), hit some important milestones..  and there's a lot of things i didnt do but ill work hard to redeem myself ~

im already jumping on my goals and stuff for this year- im feeling really good about 2026 so far! i started journaling and reducing my phone screen time by a lot, getting back into reading and art/music hobbies and stuff, not watching youtube, it's real soothing already 

im hoping its not just a fluke and that i can keep up with my planner and limits i put on my phone (i dumbed it down a lot) when school starts back up again. i do really well before the semester and then... it tends to crash down after the first few weeks of classes. right now im just really excited to do all this stuff so i'd like to keep it for going the entire year...

this year i want to see more bands, buy more of their cds, go to the gym (for fucking REAL this time), pump up my glutes until my butt outgrows my head (wishful thinking?), read more, write more, create and create and create

the power of boys love is ever motivating..!

maybe ill post some writing about my lifestyle goals & relationship to tech that sound very r/nosurf LOL but maybe i wont . ...   

anyway, hope whoever is reading had a safe holiday season and stays happy forever ok?
