hi my blog ~ long time no post. aka im still in the process of writing about otakon and u know i always have way too many details to share, so its taking long,, as expected ~

 

ive been wanting to write small updates here and there but as soon as i sit down to blog i am whisked away once more .

lately my mind has been dark so i will share happy things to remind myself fun is all around me.....

today my lovely friend made me an iced banana latte with hazelnut cold foam. he is an awesome barista and metaphysically understood my craving for banana milk so he extended an invitation to his apartment for banana latte. incredible  (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) im sipping on it at work right now.

yesterday i went to a vocal and piano recital which is the first time i saw a performance at my uni :O i need to keep attending those more... the building is so fancy schmancy 

i hung out with my friends some last week too... we had a game night and a tumultuous encounter at little caesars. we got celebratory thai food regarding our first accounting exam.

september 9th was national teddy bear day so my uni set up a station to make your very own teddy bear for free. i waited 45 minutes to get mine. his name is baby and hes my new accounting assistant(>∀<☆)

ive been making the effort to go to a lot of school clubs. now that im about to graduate i realized i dont really care anymore and im not that shy so i started going to the music club, student film production club, and getting involved with the radio station again (tho im not having a show this semester)

ive already made many buddies and the activities are so fun.... i made a collage, i sang LMFAO at karaoke, and i went to a house show =D i signed up to be on a film production, and i hope i can do something with editing or lighting or sound. im president of a different film club at school so we're planning to have a halloween mixer party with the film clubs soon too. much plannings.....

the first show i went to of the semester was extremely fun and it was my literal dream lineup. in many blog posts ive already talked about how much i love dials dials dials and virtua dx, and that my fantasy was for them to be on teh same bill... WELL GUESS WAT.... THEY WERE!!! this one guy who books shows is pretty close with them both so it was bound to happen sooner or later. there were also 2 dj sets i was coolin tho to save my energy. hehe

i chatted with both bands a lot that night and im so happy devon was super excited that my friend and i had cow ears. dials was amazing as always and they played a TON of new unreleased stuff that sounded so fucking good it was honestly the best theyve ever played(i say that everytime) but seriously so insane. i always get a great view. lots of ppl danced but i never dance because im quite fixated on whats happening on in front of me i dont know if i should feel bad? i just love them so bad (*μ_μ) i love them.  music ....

because virtua dx's album guitarpop forever features a cow and rainbow on the cover i decided i wanted to be the one of a kind prize cow that night. i got inspired by the band wearing little cow ears last time i saw them as well as YAAMC fans dressing up as the butterfly on their album. so i got cow ears that i sewed wig clips into so it would stay on my head, i also had a neutral milk hotel shirt that said cow, and then a rainbow belt. their set was fantastic too, they essentially asked for the speakers to break (the sound guy refused) i absolutely love their commitment to noise......... KYUUUUUUN 

2 shirts secured from that show. although very sad i couldnt get a virtua dx tape or the new run of their cds, i am also proud they keep selling out of merch u3u ,the bruise from virtua lasted 3 weeks

another show i went to was to see abbatia which is always great when you need to let off some steam. with the aforementioned buddies ive made its always nice to see them and chat at shows. this was a particularly fun set because one of the vocalists got in my face quite a bit i was honestly really shy...and sweating like a B*TCH 

ive had one job interview and one phone screening. i have another job interview in a week (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ its not the most fun but im doing a lot of future plannings too...... lets go employment uwaaaah

first chilly day of fall ~ omocat sickboy sweater and vintage juicy couture vest ~ i did electric blue eyeliner and mascara to match my electric blue jeans + sickboy. 

LAST first day of classes!! the layering was a bit overkill. shuba pin on my cardigan to keep me company. otsubaru~ 

second first day of classes!! had to rep my t.u.k. kitty shoes for both first days. the pleather was SUPER overkill...
