too many shows too much uni work i lost my head in a dark ditch

ah what a month even in november im still recovering  

im writing this quite late because i was sick for a long time since my halloweekend (un)spectacular...

i entered the month with a lot of stress from my uni work. this semester is really taxing because my whole life is consumed by a group project (everyone must go through this to be accepted in the business school) -_- 

so despite having to delegate tasks, a lot of responsibility was left on me by the end because my work depends on my groupmates work... which they took a lot longer to complete, leaving me less time to do mine.

even though this was extremely frustrating i had tickets to go see your arms are my cocoon in town!!  so i went instead of doing my work all night (they had super unrealistic expectations of me, fuck that!) ⌒‿⌒ 

i had to skip the other bands on the lineup because of this project but im so happy i saw them ~

i already knew i had a stacked month of local shows so i made sure i got most of my work out of the way this month (which never really happens)

on the second weekend of october, i went to a show featuring some local bands and a touring band. the music wasn't really my focus because it was encouraged to wear costumes, so i was looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up :D

there came a lot of midterms so every sunday was spent cramming for all my classes ._.

on the third week of october i had a few exciting things:

• first i scratched someone's car in the parking garage at uni (but they didn't call me?
• ....then i fell out with a friend heh....
• and then i got my navel pierced! it turned out so cute!!

that same day i went to a show and saw an incredible band called dials dials dials! they consist of a saxophone and a drummer, and they are crazy talented!! they make live jungle using their instruments and some loops it really blew me away ~  

...and then came the fateful week of halloween... 

i had a really important presentation that week. i was so stressed and unwell (group projects are absolutely not my thing, but when you throw a presentation in there?! blegh) but i had to just make it through the other side.

my group honestly pissed me off so much that on the morning of our presentation i got my nails done instead of practicing XD but our presentation went really well and we got good feedback!

after that we could all take a sigh of relief and physically/mentally prepare for halloweekend 

on the 30th, i went to a rave at a warehouse and everyone wore a costume, it was the best! i wore my junko cosplay since i recycled the same costume 2 times already this month.

on the 31st, i went to rocky horror picture show also in junko cosplay lol. the cast members really liked it too :3 

and on the 1st, my friend had a birthday party and thankfully i did not have to wear my cos AGAIN (my lashes were getting sooo nasty)

let it be known.......... i was suffering from a cold since the 29th. that cold has not left me 2 weeks into november D: i hate uni so much. everyone is sooo nasty after halloweekend, and they just cough everywhere with no regard for cleanliness

anyway, one day this semester will finally end and i can never be this physically and mentally strained in my life again lol
